Monoceros is a faint constellation on the celestial equator. It is bordered by Orion to the west, Gemini to the north, Canis Major to the south, and Hydra to the east.

IC2169 - Blue Reflection Nebula

The Jellyfish Nebula is the remnant of a massive supernova explosion that occurred between 3000 and 30,000 years ago. Located about 5000 light years away it is almost double the moons apparent diameter in the sky.
